Happenings at Town Hall..

If you missed the monthly Town Commission meeting this week here is a quick recap:

• FREE EXERCISE CLASS- The Commission approved another free exercise class to Ryckman Park on Wednesday mornings. Taught by Kelly Young, the class is called FLOW and will provide balance, flexibility and strength training for ALL fitness levels The class is scheduled to begin on November 16, 2022. Stay tuned for more details.
• NEW FIRE TRUCK- The Commission approved the purchase of a new Fire Truck for the Melbourne Beach Volunteer Fire Department. Don’t look for the new truck just yet, it will take over 2 years for this truck to be built so the department will continue to use the existing equipment.
• 6th AVENUE BOAT RAMP- The Commission will be looking into long term repairs and improvements to our 6th Avenue boat ramp. Improvements have been discussed before, but Hurricane Ian has pushed the issue to the forefront.

The next Town Commission meeting will be held Wednesday November 16th at 6pm in the Community Center. Why don’t you come out and see what’s going on in our town.
